Music is part of my DNA. Honest to Pete - I can't get enough of it.
Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee - my dad played drums for a host of country music artists and I remember waking up to the sound of drums jamming on the weekends...sometimes a little too early for this night owl.
Anyway, at age 4 - I picked up my first set of sticks and fell in love.
Then I made my way over to guitar and onto the keyboard.
After graduating from Full Sail University for audio engineering, I set up my first audio post-production studio and started making magic.
20-some years later, I've composed/produced hundreds of songs spanning over a dozen countries
landing on shows such as HBO's "Vice", "Running Wild with Bear Gryllis" and "Travel with Samantha Brown".
But I would say I'm most proud of my collaboration with Quiksilver....yup I'm a surfer dude at heart.
Nothing quite like taking a day to catch waves with hopes the men in grey suits stay away.
Oh yes - I watch Shark Week - who doesn't?
In 2007, I released my first African production music library with Audio Networks.
It was co-written with my friend and celebrated South African artist, George Van Dyk.
In 2010, I released my first solo CD, "Lit Up".
After living in Miami for the past 20 years, I'm decompressing in the tranquility of Northern Virginia, searching for a good place to board, hit the greens......and documenting this journey behind the lens as a self-taught photographer.
And....of course I'm looking forward to many Studio 384 adventures...what she said.
